  • Night Shot or not?

JetPhotos.com is the biggest database of aviation photographs with over 5 million screened photos online!

The sun was already behind the mountains when this photo was taken. Time of shot was: 7:24PM PST

Would this be considered a night shot?

    Thanks
    Fed

This category should apply for the following: - Dawn, Dusk & Night. For Dusk & Dawn shots these should show a red-orange glow and long shadows. Dusk or dawn shots where the aircraft is a silhouette in front of a rising or setting sun would be a time where backlit shots are acceptable and Night Shot would apply. The sun needs to be very close to the horizon for Night Shot to apply. If you're not sure just let a comment to us in the "Comments to Screeners" box.

Hello. So if we are not sure if a night shot category must be applied or not. Must we just state that in the comments to screeners. Then they cant reject for categories missing right?

No, that way we know, why you took your decision. Some just ignore categories with a passion, others take more care.

I don't consider that this one can be screened with night shot it is bright enough. Besides, this one seems blurry and a little bit OS i think.
