    I don't think this is the way all this happened. I just don't trust that newspaper at all either

    Ironingly, during my J-31-riding phase, a prop-reverse sensor (or something like that) was inoperative.

    I watched the crew get a ferry permit and fly off in a 'perfectly airworthy' aircraft leaving me behind to deal with a FUBAR'd rest of the day of missed connections and final arrival that was 6 hours late.

    In this instance, I was willing to accept the increased risk- especially since the pilots rear ends were on the line too.

    ...but alas, procedures were followed as opposed to cowboy improvisation.
