So, It still should not prove to anyone else that you're just looking for numbers.
By the way, I remember the days when this site just came on the air, when people from the staff here wrote to me and asked me to upload here my photos that they knew from other sites, to bring up the numbers here ...
    A) in that case you are indecisive and that is not JP’s fault but only yours
    B) in that case choose your best shot and upload that one (see above). If I recall your number of uploads only after a few visits to Zurich, then this is anything but not being selective, in my own eyes even looking for numbers.

Rules have changed over the years. Upload accordingly and you’ll be fine.

And you really talk about "good" photos at this ones? Sorry this is just a poor excuse as all photos are everything else than good.

It's really nice that you have time to invest for the search of my photos.
I already said that you are a very friendly person ...

The first is the better image with no foreground distraction.

The first is the better shot. The second is a bit too backlit.

Does a visit of a government aircraft that is publicized by local news count as a "newsworthy" event?

Recently I saw some photos with people in the back of an aircraft clearly blurred so that they're not recognisable & the photo will be accepted. Has the rules changed pls? I cannot find anything. Thanks!

Nope, the rules have not changed. If it is like you say, the photo should have been rejected.

The only blurring that is allowed is a slight, minimal blurring of a vehicle number plate, just enough to render it unreadable.

    Hi,
concerning similar rejection I have a question.
    These two pics
    https://abload.de/img/99669_155994434350k9x.jpg

    https://abload.de/img/q33a6342-1kleinfilterxaksr.jpg

were rejected for bad info at the same time first.

After reupload with proper infos the first was rejected for quality issues and the second for similar at the same time although there is no similar pic in the db already as this the guideline explains.
My appeal got the answer that I have to reupload it again as explained.
But there was no explanation in any mail and the guideline doesn't say that no similar pics are allowed in the queue.
Imo the 2nd pic cannot be rejected for similar.

Or do I understand something wrong?

    Best greetings

    Rainer

    Hi Alex,
thx for the quick reply which explains everything and is fully acceptable.
May I suggest to add that in a shorter version in the upload
guidelines the other day because an uploader looks there and not in the forum first.

    Hi,

at the very beginning of the upload form you have to chose between aircraft and airport. I selected airport for an airport overview once but got a rejection for bad info and had to upload it in the aircraft section. In which cases shall I select "airport". I cannot find it in the guidelines above.

You can select airport, but as with any upload that uses auto-complete, you will still need to check that the info submitted is actually correct.
