  • too much or too little?

JetPhotos.com is the biggest database of aviation photographs with over 5 million screened photos online!

If I though this photo needed contrast correction, I probably would fix it before submitting.

It was taken in RAW so correction is possible, but I don't know if it's too much or too little.
I there a tool that I can use to determine the right contrast?

The histogram shows missing dark tones. Which processing software are you using ?

      Hi,
I'm using the Nikon Capture NX-D. Here is the same photo, after correcting the dark tones. I like it less than the one I submittedClick image for larger version

Both would be acceptable for me, but the second version does look better.

          Thanks!
I'll wait until my queue is released, and resubmit.
I have a limit of 5 (?) photos in the queue.

You should have 10, unless they updated the policy? It's been a while since I uploaded that many in one shot haha

The second photo does look better, but I personally feel it's a bit soft and underexposed. At least that's what I'll get from the screeners when I submit.
