  • Hi for all and happy new year!

I got this two photos rejected and need some help to understand and improve for the nexts:

#1. https://www.jetphotos.com/viewqueued_b.php?id=7061476 - I used my usual workflow. It got a lot of red/yellow? Need more blue?
#2. https://www.jetphotos.com/viewqueued_b.php?id=7061362 - Not the best conditions as well but in my monitor contrast looks ok. Adding more will help or there is no possibility to improve this one? Also it will be good to know to calibrate my monitor.

    Thanks for all the support.

      1. yellow, but really more of a contrast issue. might not be fixable
      2. also probably not fixable due to poor light

      • Hi,

Sometimes I have problems with vignetting most of them because of the combination of my lens (18-140mm) and aperture settings. In this two examples below I tried to correct the vignetting so I need some opinions if it`s ok and if not will be really nice to have some opinions/tips from the crew and JP users.

I can see it slightly in these two images, but wouldn't be enough to be a rejection for me. The only kind of vignetting that should be an issue is lens vignetting (i.e. too wide an aperture), or vignetting from an out of focus structure (fence, etc..). The natural difference in brightness in the sky seen when using an ultra-wide angle lens shouldn't be considered a problem. You can tell the difference between this and lens vignetting as the latter tends to affect all corners equally, while the former just one part of the sky.

Thank you for the explanations. It`s very clear for me now.

            • Hi,

I got this image [https://www.jetphotos.com/viewqueued_b.php?id=7483686] rejected by Bad Composition (bad framing / aircraft not centered) (the comment from the screener was that the a/c is too high in frame). I use the body from the a/c to center the object and it`s not clear to me how I need to center the a/c as it looks ok in the center tool. Can anyone please detail how to center this image?

              Thanks in advance.

Hi, I am not a screener but as a rule I alway make the centre line of my crop tool pass through the windows Click image for larger version

Tail makes it look a bit higher than it is. Might be worth an appeal, or if not, just a minor adjustment.
