Thank you very much. I'm so happy that you looked at my pictures.
I think I need to reform my way of editing from scratch.
But I don't know where the boundary line between good processing and over-processing is...

I'm using Lightroom 5.
And my workflow was as follows;
1. Crop
2. Check the dust
3. White balance
4. Adjust histogram (pull shadow and highlight to each edge)
5. Adjust contrast (point curve on LR as medium)
6. Noise reduction (comparing to original RAW)
7. Sharpen
8. Save as JPEG by LR (width 1200-1280)
But my pictures were always rejected for "dark",
so after step 3 (of above workflow) I edit on Photoshop CS6.
Therefore, my workflow for several weeks is;
----------------------- on PS ------------------------------
4'. Shadow/Highlight (35% up for shadow)
5'. Adjust histogram
6'. Adjust contrast
7'. NIK Collection - DFine2
8'. NIK Collection - Sharpener Pro3 (Output sharpener)
9'. Save as tiff on PS, then return to LR
----------------------- return to LR -----------------------
10. Check and adjust histogram on LR
11. Save as JPEG by LR (width 1200-1280)
And now, I become not to receive "dark" rejection, however,
I'm suffering from "over-processing" rejection...
Hmmmm, I'm wondering what to do...

However I can suggest you take some attention in step #4 from your PS workflow as change to much the shadows sometimes can produce halos (justifying the "over-processing rejection). Also in the step #8 you can try change the NIK Collection Sharpener tool to use the native option from PS. NIK is an awesome app but I`ve already tried to use this function and the photo got little weird (but maybe I don`t know how to use lol). Are you shooting in RAW?
I use Dfine2 to reduce the Noise and works very well for me. You can mantain. You can also try to do you workflow in the original full size file and sharpen after resize (in PS direclty). As I see, you edit the original file, sharpen and after this resize to the final file to upload. For me works well to the sharpen in a smaller image.
I add just some points and tips. As I said I think you`re in the right way...just some details to correct. As I get much help from the JP crew and members (I always learning, each photo has a different point of view to edit for me) and the objective from the forum is to help each other, it will be a pleasure to help you too to get in the site standards.
You can also send me me through PM! With this your photo topic will not became a chat

Thanks! Many thanks, Vinicius!
This is the very first time for me to receive such a kind advice about my pictures and workflow.
As you indicated...I tend to rely on Step 4' and 8' so easily.
Because they have profound effect on my pictures.
And regarding how to use "sharpen", yes, I try to do "sharpen after resize" as your advice.
Actually, I've almost given up uploading pictures to JP.
Because I was so tired of facing with 'Rejection' again and again.
But thanks to your advice, I get more energy to try again.

Do not give up to upload here, it`s very normal to get rejected in the beginning. As every photo related site, there is a standard to follow here too in JP. But after the first approval you will see how the things works! You have nice and good shots! Only thing in to standardize for the site. Think here you have a nice dashboard to catalog and see what aircrafts you`ve shot, the site has many useful functions!
As I said before, I`m here to help. If you need anything just send me a PM.
Best!

1. I'd vote to reject for dark/under and also maybe colour.
2. Ok for me.
3. Ok for me.
4. Appears a little blurry in places like the top of the tail and the main titles.
5. Ok for me.

Hi! JP Crew,
Thank you for pre-screening the other day.
At first, would you please check this picture this time?
The reason why I ask for your advice is that I'm always bothered about adjusting levels and histogram.
Please look at the Lightroom's screen page processing the picture above.
As you can see, I pulled sliders until just before highlights/shadows clipping warning come out.
I think both sides of histogram are on their edges.
But on the picture itself, I can see red warning dots (or lines), too.
Therefore, my question is as follows;
- Should I adjust levels (whites, highlights or exposure on this case) more to turn out red warning dots?
(Then, this picture shall be dark. I'm worried that this picture will be rejected as "underexposure" as ever...)
- Or, can I develop (finish processing) it as long as the histogram doesn't show any highlights/shadows clipping warning?
(Then, I wonder what those red warning dots mean...)
Thank you very much in advance,

[I`m not a JP screener]
First of all, nice shot! Maybe you can put a little more sharpness in the windows and the "Dreamliner" word but It`s a personal view/opinion. Just pay attention to remove to much the shadows/highlights because you can over process the photo (creating halos around the a/c). Equalize the image to see if any halos appeared around the a/c during your editing process.
As I did not see the original photo and I don`t know what it look like, but also you can put if you want a little (just a little) more contrast. It will be great just because you removed too much the shadow. But as I said, it`s a personal opinion.
Congrats for the shot!
Vinicius
