  • StefBrat - Editing and Screening advice

I would need some help on my helicopter shots I took. They are not the normal one straight from the side or as I used my wide angel lens. Could someone of the staff give some hints if they are acceptable from the angel or how to level? I did no sharpening and no other things.

Personally, I would go with the first edit. Horizon is tricky, but I think you've done a good job. Second edit is too tight, and probably needs CW.

photo from the rescue helicopter was accepted. Thanks for the help.

Not sure if these photos have a chance as there are some small snow hills in front. Also if the quality is enough with 1600pix. Thanks for looking.

General rule is if the obstruction is unavoidable and blocking less than half the wheel, then should be ok. In this case the first will be no as there is too much blockage, while the second may be ok as the small amount of blockage covers less than half the wheel. It will be up to the individual screener who ends up screening the image however, as they may feel even that smaller amount of obstruction in the second image is still too much.

I uploaded the one and the second one will not be uploaded. One is okay and fine as it's also the same motive.

What's with these pictures? Would for the LATAM a tight crop as on the Thai look better or would make it look worser?

Crop should be acceptable for both.

And Quality for upload? Any problems or rejection reasons?

Borderline soft for both, and the second is too dark.

the 2 350s need a bit more contrast, the 737 looks ok. Don't forget to select the night shot category

                    Regards

                      thanks, all three accepted

Took this one at around 1PM and sun was on my right side. I'm not sure if it could be considered as backlit?

Passable for me, but can't promise it would be for everyone else.

I'll give it a try, let's see whats going to happen. Could you please look on these picture, I'm not sure about motive (cropping) and of course general things.

Crop is ok for me. Maybe a bit soft, but don't see any major issues.

I found these, they are from 2016 and sadly not shot in RAW. Don't know if quality is good enough for an upload. If not it's also okay but don't want to block any space in the queue.
