The scene: Verona Airport. BH Airlines A320 departing, 87 pax, but while on takeoff, crew did not apply forward pressure, so nosewheel left runway at 30 kts - and several further times during the takeoff roll; the aircraft suffered serious damage as a result of tailstrikes, still continued takeoff (and went into alternate law).
The crew were going to continue the flight, but pressurisation warnings (a result of the fuselage damage) changed their minds and they returned to the airport.
The trim was found to be well outside limits.
