Default “Referencing to fatal accidents via hot shots and/or Accident category”.

We would like to make it clear that uploading images of a fatal crash or pictures of an aircraft as a hot shot that has subsequently been involved in a fatal crash will not be tolerated. We must retain an acceptable degree of sympathy and consider that the surviving relatives of the deceased may possibly be directed to our site and end up seeing an image of the aircraft in which their loved ones died.

We recently got a few people uploading Ethiopian 737MAX as hot, so just a reminder, please avoid it

    Thanks

Crashes that are non-fatal are allowed though?
What would be the time frame for a fatal crash to be considered as acceptable to upload?

Alex is referring to the fact that there have been several attempts to upload images of the crashed ET MAX 8 taken weeks before the incident. This will never be acceptable

When I was a crew member non fatal crashes were uploadable within the 48 hours rule.

Fatal crashes were never acceptable as hot images and I hope that the screening crew retains that attitude.
