    Hope 1 is OK now. Can you advice on contrast? when it is cloudy (or less sunny) I find it difficut to find a balance (shooting in saturated mode)
    thanks

      Still borderline, but would be ok for me.

      I'd simply recommend lowering your expectations of having images accepted if shooting on cloudy days. Not saying it's impossible, just that the chances go down the worse the light is, so it's something to consider, if that's your main reason for going out and shooting.

        No worries, my expectations are null under these conditions, and even under the sun light they are very moderate!!!I am seeing some images under cloudy skies (example https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/9377805) and even under rain, so wanted to learn (and try to improve a bit ) how to set the camera for example, any advice is very welcome when shooting and processing these images.

          Well, new (and rare) subjects will always be much easier to get accepted, since standards are lower for such images.

              All slightly flat, but acceptable for me. Last one needs more contrast if anything, than less.

                I am sorry, but, can you please explain on flat?

                How about now for the contrast? thank you

                    Flat = low contrast.

                        Looks a bit soft/blurry, and noisy. Not sure more sharpening is going to help.

                              A bit soft, but definitely not backlit.
