I'm aware that no. 1, 2 & 5 might suffer from contrast problems. If they do please let me know if they can be fixed or not.
    Have a nice day,
    Dara
1,2 and 5 suffer indeed from lack of contrast. Ask yourself, if you really want to have them in your portfolio or wait for a better chance.
    3, 4: OK

    • Hey guys,
I have this one rejected for "horizon" and "category". For the "horizon" part, I think it should be fine. What do you think?

Agree horizon looks ok, but I would have added soft as well.

Both a bit dark & noisy, and the second soft as well.

For the dark part, should I elevate the midtones? Or do you mean the overall exposure?

                  • 1) poor/dull contrast
                    2) should be ok
                    3) a bit too dark and 0.2 CCW rotation needed

                    Regards
                    Alex

The contrast between the underexposed cockpit and the overexposed window kills it.

Is there a technique you can suggest when taking these kind of shots? Would using a flash make a difference?

A HUGE difference! Using a fill flash is exactly what you need.

                              • It's WAY better and looks acceptable

Just the last one that could be rejected for "motive" because of the very recognisable people in the frame.
                                Regards
