  • BAN ALL LIGHT AIRCRAFT!!!!

Not sure how long the link will stay active- Yahoo jernelizum stinks!

"A plane piloted by a 16 year old pilot" (The article goes on to say that there was an instructor on board...but that doesn't make for a good headline).

Also, ACCORDING to the article, a wing tip struck the sand AND THEN the wheels dug in.

    Okay...

Along with this link were two other articles regarding recent fatal light aircraft crashes...

There's another thread here on stats...it's what? 7X more dangerous than driving? (General aviation, that is).

The article says it was the instructor who landed the plane.

      The headline doesn't.

That ranks as crappy sensationalist inaccurate journalism in my book.

Well...I wasn't gonna say it, but: "Fake news!"

Actually- a 172 landed on a beach and flipped over...Not 100% sure, but the landing was somewhere between good and excellent...

A nice news story, but typical Yahoo bullcrap on the headline and coverage.
