Default List of current and former 747 operators

Wikipedia used to have a country wise operators list that they deleted, so bringing it here continent wise.

If any operators or types operated by some are missing add them in a separate post mentioning country.

Some airlines were temporary 747 operators while others operated some 747 versions temporarily, in both cases time frame was anywhere from a month to a couple of years.

Qantas today operates 6 B747-400ER (Extended Range) and 4 QF-B744. So, this is not rubbish, QF said that they like to fly the Boeing 747 at least until the year 2020.
But in my eyes, and for 2018, it's a lie again, see Air India (!).

Evidence? Yes, and I love it.
Qantas B744ER at Kingsford Smith, April 2018.
LH also has a intercontinental history, the Hamburg - Düsseldorf - Shannon - NYC route, open since June 1st, 1955.
    A/C type: Lockheed Super Constellation.
The operator on the DUS - NYC route, on the DUS - BKK route, and on the shiny new DUS - LAS nonstop route? EW, one of the dearest LH daughters .

Hm. And I thought that I should rather write short forum entries..

This seems to be a new list "against the 747". I know that LUNN hates the 747, and he's uttered that also years before January 2018. But every 1 or 2 years, I have to tell him the truth.

LUNN dreams of Air India without a Boeing 747 fleet. But he definitely does not mention the truth in his various lists! As I previously mentioned, on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean, there might be exactly
    2 jetphotos members,
who you should ask about the Boeing 747, that's Little Bob, or me. And I can show evidence, which comes from the European side of the Ocean:

Air India B744 on Heathrow, April 2018.

The Palace in the Sky is where he belongs. In the sky!
LH also has a intercontinental history, the Hamburg - Düsseldorf - Shannon - NYC route, open since June 1st, 1955.
    A/C type: Lockheed Super Constellation.
