Background haze is not an issue. Heat haze on the aircraft is.

I have understood what you speak about - the haze is our trouble, very seldom happens when the picture without it turns out. I will try to place a photo with this plane - the picture can and it will be accepted.
And what tell concerning this picture?

I find it difficult to understand your explanation according to the first picture, it is possible a little in more detail. Just for understanding it is necessary to use the translator

    Nik,

When you change the shadows, highlights or clarity during your editing workflow a thing called "halos" will appear in your image. Basically is a white/black smooth that can be visible in the original and equalized photo.

See around the fuselage and you can see some halos. When this appear the photo probably will got a "overprocessed" rejection.

Tell me if its clear now!

    Regards,

    Vinicius

Hi, I can comment on what I am seeing if that helps?

The image is too dark (exposed to the Left), if you bring up the histogram you will see the whites/highlights need adjusting to bring the histogram into a more 'balanced' feel see below. Where possible try to expose to the right in camera, negating the need to push up shadows specifically.

I also suspect theres still some halo's if i am seeing it correctly - above the cockpit and the port wing/flaps. The point Vinicius tells you about above.

    regards Tony

    1.looks ok IMHO
2., 3. a bit underexposed. Check the histogram there is a gap on the right side.

    hope this helps.

Unlikely. It is soft, dark, and lacks contrast.
