    DFW Terminal E Satellite getting major update and renovation

    My favourite facility at DFW from which to do spotting is going to get a much-needed renovation as part of DFW's Terminal Renovation and Improvement Program (TRIP). However it will be getting more gates (up to 15) and will essentially become another regional jet terminal for American Eagle. So this means that Eagle will effectively be in two terminals after it re-opens. Pretty interesting, you'd think that after opening the 10-gate stinger at Terminal B, Eagle's gate needs would be met. Between the current 46 gates in Terminal B and now the 15 gates here, it would get a total of 61 gates! At any rate, I'm happy that this satellite will be staying.
