  • Henrik Hedde - editing advice

    Dear JP Team!

I got a rejection for horizon unlevel and can somehow not quite figure out how the picture should be rotated to make it level. Is it CW or CCW in that case? And how much should it be rotated?
Note that the planes nose is opened infront of the cockpit.

JetPhotos.com is the biggest database of aviation photographs with over 5 million screened photos online!

Thank you very much for any advice

    Henrik,

The photo is leaning to the left, so you need to do a CW rotation. See the horizon tool:

If you use the line near the panel, you will see that the photo needs a CW rotation.

You can also do a better crop to reduce the space in the left and get a more balanced image.

I`m not a screener so better wait a comment from a screener as well.

    Regards,

    Vinicius

        You're welcome, Henrik!

Even I'm not a screener there is a rule to not pre screen or give advices if the photo is already in the queue, so I'm don't want to break the rules here. If you want to discuss more about it, just remove from the queue and send your photo using the "Insert Image" button in your post/reply window! It will be a pleasure to help indeed.

        Cheers,

        Vinicius

are there any issues with it? And if I would like to upload it, would it be "Military" and "Business Jet" since it's a Qatar Amiri flight plane?

              Thanks in advance

Yes, the photo has visible halos around the wings and left gear and it`s not acceptable in JP. I think this one need "Business Jet" only but better wait some comments from the screeners.

Would be rejected for contrast & overprocessing (strong editing halos visible). Should be 'Civilian' and 'Business Jet'.

Thank you very much for your help Dana and Vinicius!

I've got another three rejections and have tried to fix the problems. Do they look better now? If not what more should I change? Thank you very much for your help

                      Hello,

I'm not screener but I can help you like Vinicius and Dana.

It' better for the #1 even if I will still take a little high light at the level of the glass.

For #2 it would be necessary to check the horizon again with the aid of the carriage posts. Put them in the vertical. They still lean left

for #3, sorry, but I do not see any change, put a little more exposure, it will clear up.
