  • Photos sometimes rejected for unknown reg, sometimes not

I'm sorry to bring this up on the forum, but I sent 2 e-mails in the past months about this and never got any reply.

Sometimes I get photos of general aviation aircraft rejected for "Bad info" because I did not know the registration, such as this one: https://www.jetphotos.com/viewqueued_b.php?id=6564189
This one was rejected for missing c/n too, but frankly I do not even know how to find the c/n of homebuilt airplanes, provided they actually have one...

However, I have several photos accepted even with an empty reg field , such as this one (pleas mind that this is taken by me, I do not like to point errors on other people's photos): https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/8836560
In this one you can also see that not always Italian ultralights carry a visible registration under the wing, as reported here: http://www.ultralighthomepage.com/regs_IT.html

How do I know when unknown registration are acceptable and when they are not? Thank you very much

    Hi,
The ones with unknown regs were accepted by mistake. Really sorry for that. We have the instruction not to accept any homebuilt aircraft without reg

    Hope it clarifies

    Regards
    Alex

You haven't thought about getting a scanner have you? If you don't know the reg you can always listen out for it
