    Thank you!

    That should be fixable, right?
Do i have to improve contrast or exposure on 1 and 2?
    Cheers, Jonas

3 & 4 may be fixable. The other two not.

          Jonas,

I'm not from the crew, but IMHO:

#1. contrast, soft, horizon (needs CW rotation)
          #2. horizon (needs CW rotation)
#3. a bit soft and overexposed, but looks nice
#4. a bit soft and overexposed
          #5. blurry, soft

Hope this helps, wait more comments from the crew.

          Cheers,

          Vinicius

Really depends on sharp the original is, and what resolution is being submitted. The sharper original, the less is sharpening needed, and the lower resolution, generally the less sharpening needed.

                        Thank you for the information:

1: What would you recommend for original-size photo
2: What would you recommend for JP-uploads

One thing i want to mention:

Not really sure what you're asking.. As I said, each image is unique, so asking how much sharpening is needed is like asking how fast you should drive to get to the store. The answer: as fast as is needed given the conditions. I generally use USM to sharpen images in PS, but what settings exactly, and how many passes depends on the specific image.

                            Hey,

So i tried to start with the "real" sharpening in Photoshop.
As I also got told the "highpass filter" is good, i tried that one and USM.

Attached are the two images fron the EY 789.
Can you tell me if there are any obvious differences (is there any difference in using USM or HP in quality?)?

I would be very happy if you can tell me wether the image is ok now or if there are any issues like contrast or now even oversharpened.

Unsharp one looks better. That one is almost acceptable. The highpass one is still much too soft.

                                Thanks for you answer.

Then I will just sharpen a little bit more on the USM one.
Is the highpass one fixable or is highpass just not as good for sharpening?

I have a second question which might be pretty obvious but I don’t understand/ know the answer for:

For the USM I used around 100% and Radius of 0,3. When I now have the full-size version, do I have to apply more or less sharpening and what’s about the radius. I know, every image is different but is there a general rule?

                                Many thanks
