Pretty strong halos still, but otherwise ok. Noise and highlights are not an issue.

What should I alter to reduce the halos? - reduce the sharpening?

Also, still not sure how to recognise the halos. Could you circle them perhaps so I know what Im looking for?

      Thanks for your patience.

Reprocess the RAW file with all settings to zero, and compare. There should be no halos present. The most common culprits are either the shadow/highlight or clarity/vibrance settings, so if everything is set to zero, there should be no way to cause the halos.

Forum, what do you think of the crop in this photo? - I wanted to include the tower in the photo, but is this crop acceptable?

          Any other comments?

          Thank you.

This would be rejected for centering and overprocessed.

ok - disregarding the tower, then...

I've undone some of the processing...

              Is this up to standard?

This would be rejected for soft and overprocessed.

Do you suggest I sharpen it more to lessen the softness?

What settings should I adjust to lessen the over-processing? Thank you.

                    That would be logical.

We've gone over this before. See post #33 above for my last reply.

                      Okee-dokee..

I've sharpened it now, and reduced the brilliance/highlights to zero, so hopefully no halos.

Kindly confirm, and thanks for your patience.

I suggest a little more contrast, but other than that it should be ok.

Lifted the contrast just a little, and also made one other minor other adjustment - Just want to check there are still no halos visible....

                          Thanks again,
                          Arnold.

                            Hello.

I've edited this photo to reduce halos as much as possible. This is the best I can get.

Is this acceptable for the database. Thank you.

Don't see processing being an issue, but this would likely be rejected for soft, and probably cut off.

Should I sharpen it more? Im just conscious that if I sharpen it too much it becomes over processed.

                                What do you suggest?

Also where would prefer me to cut the photo? I could go back to original RAW and cut it at a different point.

                                Thanks again.
