Brightness is ok, but contrast very borderline. Probably less than 50% chance at acceptance.

Is the contrast acceptable on this photo? - The histogram has a nice clean peak...suggesting to me that contrast is good?? - Am I missing somethinkg? - thank you.

Contrast is very flat - there is no direct light on the aircraft. I find the histogram is not a very useful tool for judging the aesthetic quality of contrast in aviation images.

Yeah - see what you mean.... this is what I've come up with.... tried to bring out the contrast as optimally as possible

Still borderline at best. Overcast conditions like that are just not that conducive to the best light.

Can I just check that the crop is acceptable on this CX 777? Many thanks. Thoroughly enjoying this site and the quest to add photos - most addictive.

Borderline for the crop, but also soft.

Is this motive/position of aircraft in frame acceptable? - Obviously wanting to include the road as the motive.

The angle does look a bit odd, but the crop should be ok.

Is this framing acceptable, or is it classed as being 'cut-off'....?
