Default Photos look different on different computer models

    Hi,

I'm raising a new thread here and hope someone knows the answer.

I have been using a Macbook Pro 2017 Super Retina for all photo processing, and to the best of my observation, the outcomes look very blurry and soft.

But then I look at the same processed photos on another computer (ASUS, lenovo,... whatever not a macbook), the photos all become sharp and okay. The same difference can be seen on upload queue page photos as well.

This really doubles my workload. One is processing on my computer and another is to check for sharpness in another one.

Do you have any suggestion? Am I doing anything wrong with the setting of the Macbook?

    Thank you.

Photos will look different on different monitors. I also use a MacBook Pro with Retina display, albeit an older version and am pretty confident with it.

One major problem: make sure you compare photos viewed with the same software. For example a photo will look much sharper in Photoshop than in any browser.

Thank you for your advice, Geri! Will try my best!
