Might have a small chance, but still likely a rejection as the sky is bright but everything else is quite dark.

Very awkward crop on the left side. Quality is decent, but you'll need a better angle/crop to have much of a chance.

I see, should I have moved to the right more to center the throttle?

Unfortunately all of my shots are this angle.

Centered would have been better, and without the pilot obstructing as much, though probably not much you could have done about the latter.

ah okay, so most likely a reject for obstruction/crop?

Was this due to lack of contrast still? Do you suppose it’s worth a shot at an appeal or should I go back and sharpen more?

I wouldn't appeal it. The photo s soft and I'm not sure if that is fixable. The contrast rejection has more to do with the photo looking overall a bit dull.

Well, obviously I disagree on that one. Contrast maybe a bit off, but not soft for me.

Thank you both, I’ll try my chance with the appeal, and if it doesn’t work out I’ll try editing again for contrast.

Guess I've got you beat there since I've never had a rejection for soft

Only #3 might have an issue with contrast. Processing looks fine on all.

Thank you, so 1,2,4 look acceptable to you.

Is 3 technically backlit/ worth continuing to edit?

Not backlit, but the harsh exterior light will never make its chances better than borderline.

also, since 1 and 2 are new regs., would there be a site where I could find information about the airframe, I know 1 is a Cessna 182 but I need the specifics.

I am not aware of any specific site devoted to Philippines-registered aircraft, but google is always a good place to start.
