Also, sorry if I've been kind of a nag. I know I've asked for a lot of prescreens. I appreciate the time you guys take to do this.

    Thanks

Hey, again. I recently got this photo rejected for "Similar Photo Uploaded". I'm not sure why this was rejected, because I uploaded a completely different angle of the aircraft showing West LA in the background, while this is a completely different angle of the plane with nothing but clouds below a blue sky. Should I appeal this?https://www.jetphotos.com/viewqueued_b.php?id=7169277

    Also, what does Size/Photo Edges/Side/Ratio mean? https://www.jetphotos.com/viewqueued_b.php?id=7166550

    Thanks,

Also, what is the bad postprocessing here? I did nothing different to this photo than I did with others that got accepted.

Images were taken 4 seconds apart. You might want to read the Upload Guidelines - 2.6 Similar. The first point literally says "a photo taken from the same sequence the same day"

Please read the Upload Guidelines before posting, you will likely find many of your questions answered there.

Don't see any glaring issues with quality on those.

Also, would I categorize KLM as Cargo because it's a combi?

    Thanks

    Hello

Could someone prescreen these photos? 1 and 2 would be airport overviews.

Thank you and have a good day

    Hello

I recently got these 2 photos rejected, both for JPEG compression artefacts. What is that? These were both RAW photos, and I converted them to JPEG when exporting them in Lightroom, the same as a did with another RAW photo that got accepted. I did nothing different. Also, I was told the photos would be accepted earlier in this thread.

    Regards
    Luca Flores

There is some minor banding in the sky. The AA is worth an appeal, but the glare on the KLM is a subjective thing, so wouldn't necessarily advise it on that one. Make sure you justify the appeal on your own, and don't put something like "I was told in the forum to appeal.."

    Thanks.

What is banding, and how can I avoid JPEG compression artefact rejections in the future?

I think that this might help.

Equalized version of your photo - where the banding appears IMHO.

    Hello

Would someone mind prescreening the following? Finnair would be a night shot of course.

Only issue I see with 1-4 is some softness to varying degrees; 5 would be rejected for backlit, contrast, and horizon.
