          Tweaked both. Hopefully acceptable now.

            1. centering (worse than previous)
            2. contrast

My bad, assumed it was too high so went lower.

Is the Thomas Cook now under constrasted or still over? I don't want to make an assumption like the Easyjet centering.

              Thanks

Looks like it was a bit overcast so there is a lack of direct light. This means weak contrast, but is also not something that is easy to fix by simply playing with the contrast slider either.

I'll abandon that one then, thanks for the advice.

Both low in the frame and the first also a little dark.

                          1. dark/contrast, borderline centering
                          2. borderline centering

Thanks for the advice. I seem to be having particular issue recently on the centering front. The overlay guide you use that is visible to us when an image is in the queue, is there any way to have access to this before queueing an image?
I have tried to replicate it in photoshop and GIMP both with no luck. If not I'll muddle on the way I am, I just dont wan't too keep submitting the same images for prescreen as that is im sure that is quite irritating for you.

No, but as a simple guide, try to place as much space between the top of the fuselage and the top of the frame as there is between the bottom of the fuselage and the bottom of the frame.

Hopefully my centering issues are sorted now, the 757 was a particuar headache due to the angle.

ID:	1040927 tinkered with the levels to lighten slightly and a small reduction in the contrast harshness, didn't want to overdo it.

ID:	1040928 using some of the drawing tools built into PS, I make this out to be 0.4cm out from dead centre. hopefully this is within margin now.

                                fingers crossed
