    Hi,

Both have issues with poor light/contrast (blown out sky), and softness. First is also too low in the frame.

Contrast is still off. The weather simply was not right for proper photography.

I appreciate that, sadly due to the nature of this aircraft it is very difficult to plan when to shoot it. As it appears to be a new registration on the database, in your opinion is it still worth a submission attempt?

Sorry, I’m with Geri and Dana. Real shame, but not for here. Keep at it tho. Regards T .

Completely understand, hopefully come the summer I'll catch it on a good day.

                Hi Guys,

Firstly, apologies for the creation of a new thread the other day, I completely missed the guidelines sticky somehow. Rest assured it's been read and well digested now. If one of the admins could change the thread title to the appropriate format it would be appreciated as I seem unable to do it.

Secondly, if you would be so kind as to offer feedback on the following images that would be great.

                  Im not a screener but...

                  EasyJet: Soft, Underexposed, More contrast
                  Business Jet: Underexposed, More Contrast

Again, the conditions you were shooting in are pushing your camera and ability to edit the photo a bit...

Thank you, all feedback is greatly appreciated. As I've said before I'm a complete novice here but fingers crossed I will improve.

I'll have another play with them and see how close I can get them, although I understand completely the point you made about all the relevent factors. Hopefully it'll be good practice for when the good weather arrives.

Both would be rejected for contrast and soft.

Some contrast added, especially around the sky tones, and a little sharpness added.

I understand I may be onto a lost cause with this image to start with but hopefully there is some improvement to be seen. Trying to work on my editing skills.

Sorry, due to the poor light, don't think you could ever make this image acceptable for here. This version is even worse than the previous.

Fair enough, more work required then on clearer days. Thanks for the feedback. hopefully I'll get some sunny spotting days soon.
