using some of the drawing tools built into PS, I make this out to be 0.4cm out from dead centre. hopefully this is within margin now.

    fingers crossed
Centering fine for both; first still likely a dark/contrast rejection.

Thanks for the advice as always. I think I'll abandon the first - I think it's beyond my ability to bring up to standard.

ID:	1041288I've a horrible feeling this will be classed as backlit, although in reality the sun was almost head on. Still may mean lack of light on the aircraft.

        Thanks

First should be ok, but second likely to be classified as backlit (or dark), yes.

                Hi T,

Thanks for the advice. As per my last request on the KLM the aircraft was facing directly into the sun hence the impression of backlit. Is number 1 worth working with or is the light completely ruined it?

                Dominic

                  Hi Dominic
Probably worth a go. Will depended on who screens it.

                      Morning,

Something a little different for me. I have a couple of airport overview/tower shots I'd appreciate you looking at and advising on.

The plan would be to use whichever is better, assuming they are both acceptable of course.

                      Thanks

Neither really work for me, both for quality & motive reasons.

Thats fair enough. Any advice you can offer for what would constitute an acceptable shot? Give me something to try in the down time when there are no aircraft movements

If you are referring to motive, neither crop is tight enough to constitute a tower shot, although the first almost works as a ramp view. With a bit better framing (more ramp, less sky) it might work, but part of problem is at that angle, widening the shot won't actually show you that much more of the ramp, just more grass.

Thanks for the advice, I'll have a play on future trips and see what can be achieved. Sadly without having airside access this is the only angle where an unobstructed shot can be taken.

ID:	1041664 This was another early evening departure into the setting sun so will probably be classed as backlit. More than likely bad/unfixable contrast also.

                                Thank you
