It's actually very easy to centre an aircraft that's climbing. As the example you have posted clearly shows, you simply crop it so the spaces above and below the aircraft are equal.
Here is an example of a photo of mine that recently got accepted where I applied the same principle: https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/9270918

Which is way too big for uploading here.
max is 1920, but I work normally with 1280 and with a very good sharp RAW file at 1600px.
Both seems also very soft/blurry.
Maybe the Southwest has a chance with a better edit, but the Alaska is blurry.
