Hm. Why don't we mention the source who always knows it best. So, let's ask United Airlines:

The UA newsroom, April 24th. The 2019 Fleet Design.

And now you ask for feedback? Come on, everybody asks for feedback, my favorite airline does, your favorite airline does. So.

Let me be honest. I love my avatar because there are three colors in it. The Original LH nightblue on the tailfin, and for the bird on the tailfin, LH orange for the sun behind the bird.. and light gray for all four nacelles.

I don't say that I love all designs if the nacelles are not white... White is not a real color, isn't it.

But there are designs where you don't have to explain the airline, i.e. designs which you easily identify, even from a distance. Cp. my avatar.

I have not yet seen it on 150x150px, but let me say, clearly better than what UA showed in 2018 and the year before. Blue nacelles. I'd love blue nacelles,
but now UA stands for blue nacelles.

They have been.... light gray until today, havent't they. That was not the best choice. There already is 1 bird with light gray nacelles...
LH-B744 with light gray nacelles. 6 likes.

A shame that we are not able to see UA-B744s, with these shiny new blue nacelles. Concerning feedback, I've found a source:
UA-B738 with shiny new blue nacelles. 6 likes.

I'd say the UA fleet design 2019 is a hit! With fifty shades of blue on the tailfin.

..Somebody said, United Airlines now is happy, they got rid of gold..

Let me only say one sentence. Aviation is so very much older than orange, if that was behind the color change,
1927 in case of my home airport,
1926 when the history of United Airlines begins.

The LH orange in Germany at least exists as long as LH is member in the 747 club, so since 1969 or longer. Plus gold in our flag, since 1832 Hambacher Fest.

      So we don't change that.

But nevertheless, a good statement. I absolutely second that.
