I am not very skilled in picking out problems with photos that may be caused by something like that especially when it comes to lightroom, but I wouldn't use it unless you are a screener or have the skills of a screener. That's my personal opinion.
I believe its a good addition. Ill have to have a play around with it. Its kind of a mix between sharpening and the style slider on instagram. (*the one that brings out the detail)
