This would also be rejected for dark.

Thanks Dana; was wondering which areas of the photo would be dark?

        The whole image is underexposed.

Thanks for the clarification, Dana; will start over and see if I could brighten up the photo further.

I have another photo, N7869A, rejected for overprocessed/bad post-processing and too much/too little contrast; any editing advice if this photo could be improved?

Here below is the rejected photo:

Don't think this can be improved. Light is quite poor, and tail is soft/blurry.

Now I know this is a long-shot attempt, as I have increased contrast and downsized the photo to mask the blurriness, but is this newly-edited photo of N7869A any better?

Still likely a contrast and possibly soft/blurry rejection.

Given that you already asked for prescreening on this one and I told you is would be rejected for soft & contrast..no. You're free to disregard any advice you get, but we're also under no obligation to give it out especially if you're asking for it after the fact, and after you were already told the chances were not good for this one.

All 3 are blurry, #1 is extremely blurry.

I have a hot photo that was rejected for either over processed or bad post processing, and either too much or too little contrast.

Here is the following photo that was last rejected:
