  • Pre- and post-screening photos - fsx98

Hi everyone! I'm a new member coming from airliners.net (but not leaving airliners.net completely), to have photos uploaded that would not be accepted to their database and I would like to have the following photos pre-screened (in an effort to save the waiting time and not waste upload slots due to rejections):

Name:	N526VL.jpg

Size:	665.2 KB

Name:	N769UA.jpg
Views:	1
Size:	582.7 KB

    Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

Note: N526VL is a reuploaded rejectedID #7364321, addressing the soft rejection (photo is sharpened more)

    Hi,

All images look like they were taken through a window/glass, and thus have issues with color/contrast, color/contrast/glare, and contrast, respectively. The first two maybe be fixable with better edits; the third probably not.

Thanks! Will apply fixes to the first two photos; probably hold off the third one for now.

I have two more photos that I would like pre-screened:

        1. dark/contrast/soft. not fixable.
        2. borderline dark/soft, but would be ok for me.

Thanks for the feedback! Will bin the Miami Air B738 for good but will give the AA Dreamliner a go.

            Funny seeing you here.... 😛
What Dana said is correct for all though.

Hi Tim! Didn't expect you here either! I have decided to do JP, not to leave A.net for good, but rather to broaden my aviation photography hobby to new heights!

As for the photos, I have binned the Miami Air B738 and had put aside the United B772 for now; I have applied fixes to all of the remaining three.

Thanks for the feedback; most likely binning N907AN and N946JL for good due to backlighting; will try to fix the remaining three.

Overprocessed means that you've got editing halos, usually caused by using highlights or shadows. Avoid them as much as possible for Jetphotos

Not necessarily. It can also refer to poor dust removal, oversaturation, too much noise reduction, or any number of processing issues that don't result in halos, so you might want to make certain before making blanket statements like that.
