  • Bees on a Plane

Air India flight delayed after being attacked (attached?) by a swarm of honeybees. Emergency services were rolled out to 'disperse' them with water cannons. Just another day in India.

I just hope they checked the pitots before clearing them to proceed.

An Air India flight from Kolkata was delayed by two and a half hours when a swarm of bees ‘attacked’ the cockpit

Retaliation for the senseless murder of several hive members by the aircraft failing to follow fundamental right-of-way rules.

Actually I'm pretty sure that's not true!

One of the most basic aviation right-of-way rules is that in a conflict, the more maneuverable craft must give way to the less maneuverable one. IMHO a bee is more maneuverable than an A319, so the bee should have yielded the right-of-way.
Be alert! America needs more lerts.
