Jetstar which operates a fleet of five Australian registered Bombardier Dash-8 Q300 turboprops (VH-TQD, VH-TQK, VH-TQL, VH-TQM and VH-SBI) today announced they were intending to cease all New Zealand regional operations from late November onwards.
Jetstar Regional has operated in New Zealand since 2015 and has taken on Air New Zealand Link making the regional market here in NZ affordable to fly. In the time the airline was here the QFPP program they ran through Massey University also provided one of the countries only airline cadetships into the New Zealand aviation industry.
