It was recently announced that Air New Zealand are going to integrate all of their operations into one, meaning that Mount Cook Airlines and Air Nelson (the two regional subsidiaries of Air NZ) will be merged into the mainline airline, all operating under Air New Zealand.
This means that:
From late November all Air Nelson Bombardier Dash-8 Q300 turboprops will operate under the callsign 'New Zealand' rather than 'Link', and,
From mid December all Mount Cook ATR-72-600 and ATR 72-500 turboprops will be operating under the callsign 'New Zealand' rather than 'Mount Cook'.
I guess for Jetphotos photographers this would also mean that from whenever the merger happens that the airline 'Air New Zealand' should be used for uploading pictures of the regional fleets rather than the old subsidiaries 'Air New Zealand (Mount Cook Airline)' or 'Air New Zealand (Air Nelson)' be used however id like to ask the JP crew whether this change needs to be upheld?
