  • Bad Composition (bad framing / aircraft not centered)

    Dear friends,

I am really very surprised and embarrassed about this rejection.

I appealed the rejection but the appeal was rejected with a comment: ''slightly too high''.

Excuse me please, but it's doesn't seem serious.

It is very embarrassing that about so slightly, if any, the photo was rejected.

    All the best,

    Erez.

Reply should have been "slightly too low" - it's only by a little but should be easy to improve

    Cheers

      Alex,

Is it too high or too low? Does every person can see anything else?
I have already corrected the photo according to the previous comment, please see it:

      now I'm even more embarrassed.

Maybe we'll make a compromise that it is in the center?

Is this, in all honesty, a rejection that is committed to reality?

      Best regards,
      Erez.

Check this out, it helped me a lot to understand the centering on Jetphotos. I usually crop for a more "balanced" look which is lower than Jetphotos requires, but now I got used to doing it this way:

Thank you, I know about that, that's the way I do, but it does not contradict what I wrote above.

As Alex says, it's slightly too low in the frame.

No compromise needs to be made. You can re-edit it and upload again.

How is it in this second version above?

This is how I try and center my photos. You can see the red lines I've inserted. I try and make sure that there's equal space above and below the fuselage to the yellow 1/3 and 2/3 lines. If anything the EasyJet is slightly high in the frame from my examples but only a little bit.

Still too low. Notice how there is more space (blue sky) from the top of the fuselage to the 1/3 yellow line above and less space below the fuselage to the 2/3 yellow line below. The window line on the fuselage isn't always an exact middle point.

                    Dear James,
                    Thanks for your response.
I always edited the photos according to the window line on the fuselage, as it was recommended to do, but now as I understand it, you have different recommendation.

                    Best regards,
                    Erez.
