How...do....you....get....it....perfectly......lined....up.....with......the.....runway???

I'm still trying to get that question answered myself. Can someone explain the procedure, in laymans terms, how to get the autopilot set up for landings? I can land the darn thing no problem, but getting lined up is quite difficult for me...especially the descent from altitude.

If your having trouble lining up planes. Your probably flying to large of an aircraft or in weather conditions higher than what your capable of flying. Try shooting an ILS in a cessna and keeep the needles centered. Also you might not be flying the correct approach speed.
