  • Landing advice please;-)

How do I get out of this situation?

I've got 6 inches of runway left and I'm still doing 164 knots, time to inflate the water slides perhaps??

If your just landing, well, my best advice is to slow the plane right down. Dotn make it stall. Experement a little. I tried for a week to get a 763 in X-Plane to land, did it. Hard though.

My advice: Use the AN-225 instead of the DC-10next time .

You flared too much- your scratch marks are halfway down the deck. Remember- if you're landing at a Navy location you gotta land like a Navy pilot.

I already ditched in the sea four times just trying to get on the runway.

Run out the cockpit door, run to the first exit in the cabin, and act like nothing's happening!
