  • Problem with FS9 a/c in FSX

I am having a problem with all of my aircraft in FSX that came over from FS9. Other than one payware F-18 I have, all the rest of my aircraft won't work properly in FSX. I have the Captain Sim 752/3, Project Fokker F28/70/100, PMDG 737NG, PSS 772/3, and the Abacus Flight Deck 4 aircraft, and all share the same problem in FSX. Most of them give me endless error messages when I select them asking if I want to "Run the guage" on FSX, followed by a message saying "This guage is not from FS98 or later, and will not work." So I either have a plane with a cockpit full of black and empty guages, or FS crashes when a flight is loading.

Anyone out there with FSX have a solution for this?

Well if it wasn't made for FSX it probably won't. You can check the sites (PMDG, etc) for patches, other than that I dunno. My system can't even handle FSX, so I'm happy with FS2004 for now.

Eh, it was announced that all FS9 addons would work fine with FSX.

The addon scenerey all works just fine, but the aircraft don't.

I'll check the websites for updates.

I get the guage messages when I load up the Project Fokker F-70. So annoying.

For now, I gave all the planes default FSX panels. Now they work fine, but its not the same flying payware aircraft with 2D FSX panels.
