      Looking at the following stuff for 2005 :

      Nikon D2X or a possible D100 replacement
      if that is bought, then a Sigam 100-300 4.0 HSM EX will be bought
      Seahawk, you'll love the feel and how well the D2x handles. I got to experience this from a naval photographer I knew during my cruise since the Navy now uses the Nikon D1x, D2x and such to replace the D100...high cost Nikons but top of the line.

      I know. I tried a D2H lately and it felt lovely. However I will wait for the D1000 replacement before iDecide which to buy. My D100 has still some life left in it.

            I recently got a 300D with EF-S 18-55mm and EF 90-300mm USM. With the 18-55mm its so light it will probably float! Great for shots involving water.

            Previously I had a C-750 which I am now trying to sell. Now the later models are much cheaper than when I brought it I'll get next to nothing for it
