Im not disputing that, but lets face it. Its not an "L" lens

Well it wont be L sharp...but my 24-85 isnt L and I get some pretty sharp stuff out of it.

Besides...for 330$ vs. 1100$ on the 14 2.8L....psshhh

Try a Sigma 12-24mm, I got one a few days ago and am pretty pleased with it, of course it isn't L glass but still a nice piece of kit for the price (about $HKD4000-don't know what that is in USD).

Well...Canon doesn't make an L fisheye...and the fisheye they make is not as good as Sigma's. So yeah...I'd want the fisheye...it gives a wider view in the end than the 14mm 2.8L. And its very sharp.

The Sigma 17-35 F2.8-4 EX DG HSM is also a very nice lens.
