    hi all i am of to england in three weeks for two months for a photography holiday at as many airports as i can get to i would like to know i have a canon 400D what settings are best for cabin interior shots.

    I don't like to use flash for cabin shots therefore I normally use max aperature. I use a Nikkor 10.5 f/2.8 fisheye. The f/2.8 is usefull for low light situations and during a day flight where there is plenty of light in the cabin you can always stop down for sharper results. Exp compensation should also be changed depending on the situation.

      The 400D can cope with ISO800 on cabin pics providing that it is properly exposed.

      Shoot as wide as you can with your aperture stopped down maybe 1 stop from wide open to retain some Depth of Field. Then just brace yourself as much as possible and shoot in burst mode for maybe 2/3 frame, that generally increases my chance of a sharp shot when shooting at 1/10th and slower.

        Nikon D80, Auto white balance, Aperture priority.

        1/6 second braced handheld, ISO 400, f5, 20mm...... [photoid=6170686]

        Both taken on the ground.
