Do you think PS elements is a good program for me to use for editing. Can it do all the things needed to properly edit? Steep learning curve. Thanks all.

I've been using Elements 3.0 and 5.0 since it came out and it has pretty much all you need. Layers being the biggest feature, you can level & heal as well.
It's a very nice program for the price. I never thought I would use half of the features of PS. -

there wasn't much of a manual but you can pick up a really good book at Barnes and Noble which really explains how to use most of the features in Elements. I think it was only $20 US or so. Worth picking up if you're like me and need visual aids when trying to figure out something new.
