Nikon 18-200mm + D300

What do you guys think about the D90? I'm doing some research and it sounds like it shares a lot of the same qualities as the D300. Does anyone have any experiance with it?

I just bought a D90 body yesterday. It has the same sensor as the D300 and from all accounts it is a great camera and at $1000 cheaper than the D300 it is great value.

I havent taken it to the airport yet obviously but cant wait. I only bought the body as I have the 18-70 and the 70-300VR aleady. In your case the money saved in buying the D90 over the D300 with the 18-200VR would get you a very good lens ie 70-200 f2.8. Money better spent that way I would think.
