1/20 shutter speed......................how SLOW can you go!

Read the caption on the photo, it's self explanatory!

The best I could do....not really a background to do pan shots at the DC airports, mainly the sky and some trees. @ 1/60...1 out of like 20 shots were alright and the rest were blurry.

I'll do some panning practice on the fighters when I head back to sea on the flight deck.

Grant, only a few possible on my Oly...but they were shot at more like 125th or 160th. D30 gives me much more flexibility

                            SUPER WOW CLOVIS!!!

                            Clovis:

Are you sure you did not Photoshop this??? .

Just kidding... Unbelieveable!!! I remember you did set a number of shots at 1/45th of second. Wow.. Sharp it is!!! I am amaze. Have you been working out? Cause I know when you transition from your point and shoot to D30 you still did not have a lot of muscles to hold the D30 steady. Apparently from that shot you did work up some muscles to pan and steady the super heavy D30.

I had my first true motion blur also that was uploaded on A.Net of HA landing with smokey trail. ALthough un-intentional the early morning with low-light slow the shutter speed significantly. I guess it was lucky combine with my ultra light DSLR .

Heavy smoker from this early arrival of HA into PHX. - Photo taken at Phoenix - Sky Harbor International (Municipal) (PHX / KPHX) in Arizona, USA on January 11, 2004.

Nice work mate!!! Keep them coming!!!

                            Cheers - Jay
