2 f-18's at yyz

hello everybody!

i saw two f-18's take off from rwy 05 at yyz at approximately 4pm today. anyone know what they were doing there? they were a welcome addition to the daily dose of a/c's we see all day.

Not sure if those are the same ones, but on the YOW yahoo group, someone said they saw 2 CF-18s approach YOW's rwy 07.

I heard something very very loud pass over my house last night at around 9 pm heading for rwy 05 it was too dark and cloudy to see anything but I assumed it to be military. It could have definitely been 2 F-18's. I have no idea why they were there but you have confirmed my suspicion as to what it was. Thanks!
