  • VH-NLH back with BA

VH-NLH, the Qantas/BA hybrid livery aircraft has now left the QF fleet and has been returned to BA following its lease expiry. It will be painted into the BA "United Kingdom" colors and receive the current BA interior layout. It will return to its former registration of G-BNLH.

      And here she is....

VH-NLH gets airborne for the final time for a ferry flight to Cardiff to be refitted and to regain her original reg. of G-BNLH. See picture 55656 to see the aircraft on her final revenue flight the preivious day in Sydney.. VH-NLH. Boeing 747-436. JetPhotos.com is the biggest database of aviation photographs with over 5 million screened photos online!

She left LHR around 1120 on Monday morning and I simply got lucky with the timing, I was only only out shooting for about an hour.

It's an interesting bird. I've flown on it twice in March 2001 on HKG-SYD and then SYD-HKG. Soon it'll be like any other BA 744.....
