What are some of the things that you have never, and probably will never witness in civil aviation.

    Here's a few of mine:

-An American A340 (AA, UA, NW, CO, US, DL)
    -A Japanese A340 (ANA, JAL)
    -A Korean A340 (Korean, Asiana)
-A B744 Combi with Rolls Royce Engines
-Cathay Pacific using Pratt&Whitney engines (except for the old 707s)
-Lufthansa, Air Canada, or Virgin flying a 777!
-Amerian Airlines or Delta flying a 747-400

In terms of flights we probably won't see any of these routes in the future (hope I'm not off topic):

El Al flight: TEL AVIV - BAGHDAD
        Northwest flight: DETROIT - PYONGYANG

And this is off topic for sure:

        An A380 "Airforce One"

I could imagine an A 340-600 in NWA colours very well. They have A 330's on order and have many A 320's. In a few years they will replace the 742.

I can't see any American airline to order the A 380

When I last looked at Fedex, I believe they were American .... .

A couple of things you are never going to see:

            - US airlines using the MRAF, the Military Reserve Air Fleet, in times of constraint
            - the Pope deboarding Alitalia without kissing the ground
            - EL AL flying on a Saturday
            - Markus Seiler successfully running an airline in Switzerland
            - an Airbus aircraft that is built and assembled in one single place

Post more when more come to my mind.

            Regards,
            Peter

              I mean the passenger version of the A 380. I forgot the A 380F.
