    Egyptair Order A330's

    Hi,
    Egyptair has placed an order for 7 Airbus A330-200s. The first aircraft is due for delivery in June 2004.

    Will they be replacing the B763 and/or A342?

      According to their website they do have 3 A 340-200's and no more B 767-300's.
      The 7 new A 330-200's were orderd to replace their 7 A 300's.

        Right, the new 332s are going to replace Egyptair's A.300s. They have no 767-300s in the fleet because they crashed both the owned .

          Really? I know one went down over the Atlantic a few years back, how was the other one lost?

            The other one overran at Harare on 22 Feb 2000, only a few months after the first one crashed into the sea. No casualties in the overran, but a hull loss.
