Flying On BA 001 next week.

I finally got my stroke of luck and willl fly on the Concorde.

This planned trip fell through twice since January. But I beleive it was meant to be as this weekend will also be the week of the Cambridge -Oxford crew race. I can;t wait!

I am just curious if any of you have been in the Concorde lounge and what were your thoughts?

Flying at Mach 2 eh, tell us how the trip was. I know a few people who've rode on it. I hear that the food is exquisite and due to the supersonic speeds, the cabin is silent.

I haven't been in the Concorde lounge, but when you're flying at Mach 2 touch the window to get quite the surprise. They're really hot at that speed! Not to mentoin they're really small and the seats are pretty small. The food is good and it's worth considering stealing the salt and pepper shakers. I flew the Concorde on a 3 hour flight in '96 and it was qiute the experience!
Oh yeah, the flight attendents are amazing.

Also make sure you get a seat in one of the front rows. Otherwise you'll have that huge delta wing blocking your view.
