I know that Qantas, Air France, and KLM would have taken some 747s and Singapore will be responsible for some of the 777s. Apart from them, who else is getting what?
That would be against their concept. Southwest won't buy something else than the 737 either. Both compnies want to keep costs as low as possible.
That's why they have only one aircraft type. They will just add more frequencies to a busy route if needed.
Adding a new aicraft type would add new costs for pilots, maintance...
There was a simular topic about Southwest getting 738's recently.
Hi,
New Dublin based LCC FreshAer will use 757-200's, infact 16 of them by 2006. It should be interseting to find out how they do. I must admit though that I am already interested in flying with them between MAN and DUB.
The A340 must be that -500 for Air Canada. Nortwest must be taking A320s and 319s. EasyJet must be taking some A319s. And the A330s are mostly -200s for Emirates.
